Compensation for Night Differential pay during PPL went to national arbitration in 2023.  NTEU won, entitling CBPO’s to night differential while on PPL if their regularly scheduled tour incurred differential pay.  CBP immediately appealed that decision, and we are awaiting the outcome of that appeal.  Seemingly, if it is upheld, CBP will have to pay all unpaid differential pay within a given amount of time after that decision.(last time it was 90 days). If it is overturned, things will remain as they are and CBPO’s will not be compensated for Night Differential during PPL Leave.

With supervisory approval CBPO’s may request up to 4 hours of voting leave, per voting event.  Approval based on work hours, voting hours at local venue in your district, and any other circumstance particular to that event.
